On Thursday, 5 March 2015, in the morning at around 10:00, in Šilalės district municipality, Kvėdarnos village, on the Mažeikiai–Plungė–Tauragė national road (kilometre 99.53), a BMW 530 D ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. She had no driving licence. The driver was sober.
