On Thursday, 5 March 2015, in the evening at 17:18, in Trakų district municipality, on A1 street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525 and a Mercedes-Benz 1217. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.42‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
