On Friday, 6 March 2015, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kaunas, on Josvainių street, at the junction with Pylimo street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Honda Accord and a Nissan Almera Tino. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Honda (17 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
