On Saturday, 7 March 2015, in the morning at 10:27, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 162.20), a Peugeot 407 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Peugeot (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
