On Saturday, 7 March 2015, in the afternoon at 16:32, in Kaunas, on Panerių street, at the junction with Jurbarko street, a Volkswagen Golf ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
