On Monday, 9 March 2015, in the evening at 21:21, in Vilnius, on Saltoniškių street, at the junction with T. Narbuto street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra and a Honda Civic. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Opel (a citizen of Armenia) (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
