On Friday, 13 March 2015, in the evening at around 22:00, in Radviliškio district municipality, on Kaštonų street near No. 6, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Polo registered in Latvia and an Opel Vectra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (14 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.51‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
