On Saturday, 14 March 2015, in the evening at around 21:00, in Kauno city municipality, an Audi A6 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Audi (12 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.54‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
