On Saturday, 21 March 2015, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 172, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Ford 12 M Turnier registered in Germany and a Volkswagen Sharan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Ford (15 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
