On Thursday, 26 March 2015, in the morning at 7:45, in Panevėžys, on Smėlynės street near No. 112, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 Avant and a Citroen Xantia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.75‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
