On Saturday, 28 March 2015, in the evening at around 22:00, in Vilnius, on Vytenio street near No. 18, an Opel Vectra ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Opel, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.95‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). The Opel had recorded faults (stabdžių). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
