On Monday, 30 March 2015, in the evening at 18:14, in Alytus, on S. Dariaus ir S. Girėno street, at the junction with Savanorių street, a collision with a moped occurred. The collision involved a Nissan Primera and an Aprilia RS 50. Two people were injured — the 16-year-old driver of the Aprilia (hospitalized) and a 13-year-old passenger of the Aprilia (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Nissan (20 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
