On Saturday, 4 April 2015, at night at around 1:00, in Kupiškio district municipality, Skapiškio town, on Dariaus ir Girėno street, an Opel Astra registered in Sweden rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk, had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
