On Monday, 13 April 2015, in the evening at 22:30, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr., at the junction with Kaimynų street, a Mazda 323 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 19-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 75-year-old driver of the Mazda (44 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
