On Wednesday, 15 April 2015, in the afternoon at 11:20, in Šilutės district municipality, on the Šilalė–Šilutė national road (kilometre 39.20), an Iveco LD260E43 registered in Belarus rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Iveco (a citizen of Belarus) (18 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
