On Saturday, 25 April 2015, in the afternoon at 13:40, in Kauno district municipality, Ringaudų village, on Šakių pl., at the junction with Obelynės street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf, a Peugeot 206, an Audi A6 and a Citroen Xantia. Two people were injured — the 31-year-old driver of the Audi (hospitalized) and a 4-year-old passenger of the Audi (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
