On Monday, 27 April 2015, in the evening at 22:39, in Raseinių district municipality, on Vytauto Didžiojo street, at the junction with Sporto street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 Avant and an Audi A6 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Audi 80 Avant, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.65‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
