On Friday, 1 May 2015, at night at 0:22, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Jonava–Kėdainiai–Šeduva national road, a BMW 530 D hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
