On Wednesday, 6 May 2015, at night at 4:51, in Šilutės district municipality, Pašyšių village, on the Juknaičiai–Pašyšiai–Kulėšai regional road (kilometre 4.90), an Audi 100 Avant hit an obstacle. Two people were injured — the 19-year-old driver of the Audi (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt) and a 19-year-old passenger of the Audi (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
