Drunk, hit-and-run Volkswagen driver in crash with Opel on Mokslininkų g., Vilnius
On Wednesday, 6 May 2015, in the afternoon at 15:30, in Vilnius, on Mokslininkų street near No. 9A, a collision with a reversing vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.10‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was overcast, it was raining, the road surface was wet.
