On Friday, 8 May 2015, in the afternoon at 15:30, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 196.88), an Iveco 440 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Iveco (a citizen of Belarus) (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
