On Wednesday, 6 May 2015, in the evening at 19:30, in Klaipėda, on Dariaus ir Girėno street near No. 21, a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 5er Reihe and a bicycle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
