On Sunday, 10 May 2015, in the evening at around 22:00, in Lazdijų district municipality, Kapčiamiesčio town, on Veisiejų street, at the junction with Eigulių street, a collision occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and a Subaru Legacy. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of a vehicle (7 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
