On Wednesday, 13 May 2015, in the evening at 17:40, in Kaunas, on Tunelio street, at the junction with Girstupio street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mazda 323, an Alfa Romeo 155 and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Mazda (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
