On Monday, 25 May 2015, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 255, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Corolla and a Citroen Xsara Picasso. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 66-year-old driver of the Toyota (16 years of driving experience), who was taken ill at the wheel, was driving fatigued and failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
