On Sunday, 31 May 2015, in the morning at 7:45, in Kauno district municipality, Karkiškių village, on Tiesioji street, at the junction with Rytmečio street, a Rover 75 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Rover (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
