On Saturday, 6 June 2015, in the evening at 17:02, in Švenčionių district municipality, on the Vilnius-Švenčionys-Zarasai national road (kilometre 63.98), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a BMW 523 and a Citroen C4 Picasso. One person died — a 60-year-old passenger of the Citroen.
