On Tuesday, 9 June 2015, in the afternoon at 16:08, in Kauno district municipality, Karmėlavos town, on Vilniaus street near No. 54, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mazda 323 and a Mercedes-Benz E 220 Diesel. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 80-year-old driver of the Mazda (62 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
