On Wednesday, 10 June 2015, in the afternoon at 12:49, in Klaipėda, on Liepojos street near No. 45, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 520 and a Toyota Avensis. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the BMW, who committed other traffic rule violations, failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
