On Sunday, 14 June 2015, in the morning at 8:45, in Vilniaus district municipality, on the Vilnius–Utena main road (kilometre 40.05), an Opel Zafira rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Opel (9 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.08‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
