On Sunday, 14 June 2015, in the evening at 21:52, in Šiaulių district municipality, Drąsučių village, on Laisvės street near No. 14, a BMW 730 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.53‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
