On Sunday, 14 June 2015, in the evening at 21:52, in Šiaulių district municipality, Drąsučių village, on Laisvės street near No. 14, a BMW 730 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.53‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
