On Tuesday, 16 June 2015, in the evening at 22:20, in Molėtų district municipality, on the Molėtai–Pabradė national road (kilometre 2), a BMW 735 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk (2.38‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
