On Saturday, 20 June 2015, in the morning at 5:42, in Panevėžys, on Vingio street near No. 18, an Audi A6 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Audi (6 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.87‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, there was fog, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 40 km/h.
