On Saturday, 20 June 2015, in the evening at 20:45, in Vilniaus district municipality, on the Naujoji Vilnia–Rudamina–Paneriai national road, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 Allroad Quattro and a Toyota Land Cruiser (150 SERIES). Three people were injured — a 61-year-old passenger of the Toyota (treated as an outpatient), a 6-year-old passenger of the Toyota (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt) and the 63-year-old driver of the Toyota (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Audi (3 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
