On Sunday, 21 June 2015, in the morning at 10:59, in Klaipėda, on Sausio 15-osios street near No. 16, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz registered in Latvia and an Opel Signum. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to give way when changing direction and failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
