On Thursday, 25 June 2015, at night at 3:30, in Alytaus district municipality, Alovės village, on the Valkininkų g s –Daugai–Alytus national road (kilometre 34.99), an Opel Combo-C registered in Sweden rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.05‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
