On Saturday, 27 June 2015, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kaunas, on Tunelio street near No. 20, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz 923, a Krone SZ AN622 and a Volvo S40. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (a citizen of Germany) (35 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
