On Thursday, 16 July 2015, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 404, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525 and a Peugeot 307. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW (2 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
