On Wednesday, 8 July 2015, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kaunas, on Skuodo street, at the junction with Jaunųjų Talkininkų street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Land Cruiser registered in Latvia and an Iveco 180-23. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Toyota (17 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
