On Tuesday, 21 July 2015, in the evening at around 21:00, in Kaunas, on Tvirtovės al., a Ford Transit FT 260 hit an obstacle. Four people were injured — a 20-year-old passenger of an Audi A4 (treated as an outpatient), a 22-year-old passenger of the Audi (treated as an outpatient), a 45-year-old passenger of the Audi (treated as an outpatient) and the 29-year-old driver of the Audi (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 59-year-old driver of the Ford (10 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
