On Monday, 3 August 2015, in the evening at 20:17, in Klaipėda, on Šilutės pl. near No. 44, a Volkswagen Golf ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (7 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.85‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
