On Wednesday, 5 August 2015, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Pramonės pr., at the junction with Savanorių pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf, a Peugeot 307 and a Ford Focus. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (26 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
