On Saturday, 22 August 2015, in the afternoon at 13:04, in Šiaulių district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Palanga (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 6.60), a Citroen Xsara Picasso hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Citroen (16 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance, failed to choose a safe speed and fell asleep at the wheel.
