On Thursday, 27 August 2015, in the afternoon at 13:10, in Švenčionių district municipality, on the Švenčionėliai–Raudonė–Zablatiškė regional road (kilometre 9.14), an Opel Corsa rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.61‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
