On Sunday, 30 August 2015, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Aristava–Kėdainiai–Cinkiškiai national road (kilometre 14.70), a Mercedes-Benz A 170 CDI ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.95‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
