On Wednesday, 2 September 2015, at night at 3:27, in Šiaulių district municipality, on Daugėlių street, at the junction with Pramonės street, an Audi 80 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Audi, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.69‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
