On Saturday, 5 September 2015, at night at 2:10, in Vilnius, on Vydūno street, at the junction with Tolminkiemio street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320 and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
