On Saturday, 29 August 2015, in the evening at 17:45, in Kaunas, on Seniavos pl. near No. 96, a vehicle hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. A 24-year-old pedestrian was drunk. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
