On Wednesday, 9 September 2015, in the evening at 18:30, in Šiauliai, on P. Cvirkos street, at the junction with Žemaitės street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Mazda 323 and a Citroen C3. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. The 70-year-old driver of the Citroen had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
