On Saturday, 19 September 2015, in the evening at 20:09, in Vilnius, on Kairėnų street near No. 57A, at the junction with Česlovo Kudabos street, a Land Rover Range Rover hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Land Rover (24 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.40‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
